Hi, I’m Ken, one of the instructors here at Divemaster Internships. I started diving in 1998, and I’m the owner of Cozumel Dive School. I also serve as the Operations Manager.
When I was diving in the Maldives in 2011, I heard about Divemaster Internships in Cozumel and I knew it was the right program for me. So I packed up and flew to Mexico, where I did my Divemaster and Assistant Instructor.
I became a fully certified PADI Instructor in 2014, and I’ve since certified over 350 students. I have huge passion for Technical diving, and I’m currently a Trimix Diver and Tec Instructor.
Before starting my professional diving career, I was in the Swedish Armed Forces and I have a Bachelor in Construction Engineering.
PADI IDC Staff Instructor—Meghan Marie
Hi, I’m Meghan and I have been here in Cozumel since January 2016. I began diving here since 2011, and became instantly addicted. I’ve primarily dove around the Caribbean in the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Key West, Jamaica, Antigua, Dominican Republic but have also dove in the Galapagos and Los Cabos areas.
In 2014 I decided to come here to Divemaster Internships for the 4 week program. The following day after I arrived back to my hometown of Chicago, I decided it was time to pick up, “retire” from teaching at the Chicago Public Schools, and move to Cozumel to become a Padi Scuba Instructor! So that’s where I am now!
Back home in the states, I was a Special Education Coordinator, Athletic Director, Coach, and Mathematics Teacher. I did this for 13 years and decided it was time to live life on the islands.
Since I am very passionate about teaching, Scuba Instructor works well for me!! Currently I am just a few certifications away from earning my Master Scuba Diver Trainer status. I am certified as a Specialty Instructor for: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Project AWARE, AWARE Coral Reef Conservation, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Enriched Air, Deep Diver , Underwater Naturalist, Night Diver, Search and Recovery, Wreck, and AWARE Shark Conservation. Let’s Dive Together!!

No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea.
